A lot of you may not like this song, and a lot of you may. I love it actually. At first listen I liked it, but it grew on me even more after listening to it a few more times. I can honestly say that I love the direction they are going. In fact, that is one of the reasons they are my favorite band. They are not afraid to take risks. They are not trying to put out the same thing everybody else is. Their sound is probably one of the most unique out there. Always has been to be honest, even before they changed it.

There are so many bands out there that just sound too much alike. If I want to listen to Seether, I will listen to Seether. If I want to listen to Linkin Park, I will listen to Linkin Park. I may be bias towards Linkin Park, because they have been my favorite band ever since the first time I heard their music. I just like the diverse nature of their music. The diversity and creativity they put into their music is what separates them from other bands, and puts them into the category of Musical Artists.

Not everybody is going to like their new sound and it’s understandable. But, to just trash the whole album over the first single is absurd. Give it a chance, because from the reviews I’ve read, there are songs on the album much better than The Catalyst.

Within the next couple days, I will have one of these awesome cameras in my possession. Already messed around with it a little at work.

I’ve always been interested in photography, so I have decided to finally take a few steps up from my simple Point and Shoot camera. Don’t get me wrong, I love my Canon PowerShot SD950 IS. It is an amazing camera. Probably the best Point and Shoot that I have owned. I just feel that if I’m wanting to progress in the photography field that I need something a little better to work with.

Linkin Park is set to release their latest album on 09.14.2010. The album is titled A Thousand Suns.

Their first single off of the album, The Catalyst, will be released 08.02.2010.
